I’ve seen Google Wave mentioned a couple of times in the last few days so I thought I’d check it out.

Google Wave was unveiled at Google I/O 2009 and it is due to go live later this year. It is going to be a new tool for communication and collaboration on the internet.

There is a 1 hour 20 mins video presentation on their website: http://wave.google.com and you can also sign up to receive updates. I haven’t had time to watch the whole presentation but the 2 guys who created Google Maps are involved and it looks pretty interesting.

I’ll write another update once I’ve had the chance to look at the full presentation.
